The Center for Spirituality and Healing is looking for a student worker for 20 hours, paying $9/hr.
Previous experience with clerical and customer service work. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, an ability to manage multiple projects, strong organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Demonstrated knowledge of administrative clerical procedures and computer skills; such as: MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, database programs, Excel, designing forms, mail merge programs, and other office procedures.
Clerical and logistic support for the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction: (60%)
Frontline responding to registration and marketing needs, which includes answering calls and taking registrations.
Prepare for MBSR sessions which includes sending confirmation letters, arranging for copying of materials, preparation of name badges and registration lists and assisting with registration on the first session.
Organize and maintain MBSR records.
Maintain MBSR database.
Manage MBSR inventory of Books, CDs, cushions and workbooks
Process event evaluations and prepare event evaluation reports.
Assist with photocopying and proofreading marketing materials and distribution of same via email, postings and mailings.
Support of other MBSR related events (i.e. facilitator meetings, training)
Provide customer service for registration of Center events: (20%)
Assist with registration of Center events on Audience View. This includes answering the main line and doing data-entry for mail-in registrations.
Export registration lists from Audience View into Excel or Access for use by Outreach, MBSR and Development efforts.
Other Activities: (20%)
Order Center supplies as directed.
Update website as directed.
Maintain the Faculty database and website.
Other special projects as assigned through Center functions in education, research and outreach
