Study Abroad- Leadership and Service in Costa Rica- January

Interested in going somewhere warm for January and making a difference? I know, it's quite the combination but it comes with hard, rewarding work.

The Leadership Education and Development Program sponsors this trip, which takes students to Costa Rica to volunteer, learn about leadership and explore Costa Rica's rich culture. This trip is specifically designed for students who have an interest in learning about leadership in the context of another culture. You will learn about a very important issue in Costa Rica: sustaining, preserving, and educating others about the environment of this eco-friendly country.

Through volunteering at a service site, staying with host families, exploring the country, and engaging in conversations about leadership with your peers, you will the time of your life while becoming a stronger global leader!

Travel Dates: January 5-14, 2011
Application Deadline: October 25, 2010
