The Running Start/Wal-Mart Star Fellowship is a wonderful opportunity for any women. It is a paid Congressional Fellowship for current junior, senior students and recent college graduates. The deadline for the spring semester internship is next week, Friday, Oct 1.

Every semester, seven college women are selected to intern in the office of a female Representative or Senator on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The program involves working Monday-Thursday in the office, and Friday's are reserved for a political seminar where the interns learn the nuts and bolts of politics and the importance of running for elected office.
