Sprint is looking for an Account Executive Intern to work from January 3rd to April 3rd of 2011. This is a paid opportunity and will demand 40 hours/week.
The successful candidate will pursue selling opportunities by self-prospecting/lead generation through cold calls, referrals and qualified leads to meet or exceed monthly sales objectives. Through consultative selling, the AE will analyze customer needs, make presentations and close accounts. Retaining existing subscribers by use of outstanding customer service and knowledge of the wireless industry is key to success. Achieves and exceeds sales quota, builds relationships and develops key contacts using consultative sales approach and application selling skills. Provides sales forecasting and reporting. Also performs account management duties.
This program is intended to provide the activities listed above in equal proportions with the intention of providing program participants a realistic impression of a career in sales. Participants who demonstrate their ability to succeed in this environment will be considered for full time positions within Nextel's sales and marketing departments.
