Do What Matters

Special Coffee Talk Hour

Attention all leadership students! A special edition of the Leadership Minor Coffee Talks will be held on Tuesday, December 7 from 6 to 8 pm at Mapps Coffee. For those of you who are not familiar with Coffee Talks, it is an opportunity for leadership students to come together, connect, and discuss pertinent leadership issues. The Coffee Talk will focus on the Cedar Riverside neighborhood, Islam, and the Somali culture. As a group, we intend to dispel frequently-held stereotypes through video, panel, and small and large group discussion.

In case you have never been to Mapps Coffee before, students will be meeting in areas around campus around 5:30 pm at the following locations: Dinkytown McDonalds, Wilson Library (located on West Bank), and Coffman. Please email Lexi (schoe379@umn.edu) if you plan on meeting at one of the designated locations so we know to expect you!
