February 16th and 17th at 11:30 AM, in 120 Coffey Hall, the Women and Racism: Creating Inclusive Communities Workshops are being held. Want to be more effective in helping to end racism? In this workshop, we will think about institutional racism, white privilege, and intersectionality - and how that impacts us as women. You will gain and practice skills communication skills for explaining and interrupting racism. Finally, you will plan action steps to address racism in your personal life and in your department.
This is a wonderful opportunity for all women to find out what they can do to combat racism. Please make time to attend one of these two days of the Creating Inclusive Communities Workshops.
