The Power of Strength- Film Event

Nolte Center, room 140
5:00 pm, Wednesday April 20
Join us for a Wednesday evening event (as many of you have been waiting for!) where
Jermain Elliott will be screening his documentary film, The Power of Strength: The Social, Economic, and Political Implications of the HIV/AIDS Pandemic in South Africa. The film highlights his research experience in Cape Town, South Africa over winter break, and is an excellent display of both the large and small scale effects of HIV/AIDS in South African's lives.

Immediately following the screening, we will engage in conversation about the impact of HIV/AIDS globally and domestically. Leadership Minor students are especially privileged to have this opportunity to gain a better understanding of the issues in South Africa, and learn first hand by an awesome member of the Leadership Minor community.
