Ongoing all through this week, August 22nd - 24th at the Shooting Star Casino, Mahnomen Minnesota, the Nibi and Manoomin: Bridging Worldviews symposium provides an occasion for exchanging teachings between Western and Anishinaabe cultural frames. Women's Equality Day is on August 26, please join Women's Initiative for Self-Empowerment (WISE) at our 4th annual Cultural Art Imbizo, a celebration of friendship, soul and women. Our Imbizo starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends on 8:00 p.m.. It is located at the beautiful park surrounding Hamline Park Plaza, 570 Asbury Street, St. Paul, MN 55104.
