Volunteer & Job Opportunities

Domestic Violence Group is seeking volunteers who speak Spanish to help Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio (CLUES) with childcare during group meetings. They currently meet on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., but will be starting up another group most likely on Wednesdays during the day. Friendship Ventures is looking for volunteers to fill our Summer Camp Session. Volunteers work with professional staff and up to 20 campers - helping them with: playing games, doing puzzles, sports, arts and crafts, swimming and music. Volunteers help set up meals, engage campers in activities, and get to know our staff and campers. If interested, please visit our website for an application or email Samantha at info@friendshipventures.org. Hurry because the Summer Camp runs June 6-August 20th! Volunteers generally come on a Saturday and stay until a Friday. You pick your week or weeks.

The College of Design is seeking an Editorial intern position in their Communications Office. Check out their blog for more information. See the blossoming of young love between Johanna and Anthony in 'The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.' at the U of M's Theatre and Dance. Now thru August 27th on the Minnesota Centennial Showboat.
