The University of Minnesota's Office for Public Engagement is co-sponsoring the annual Imagining America conference on the UMN Twin Cities campus on Sept. 22-23. Volunteers are needed to help guide conference-goers from the Holiday Inn on the West Bank to Coffman Union on Thursday the 22nd and Friday the 23rd. Volunteers can choose one or more 60 and 90-minute shifts from 7:30am-10:00am. There is also need for guides at Coffman Union on Friday the 23rd from 11:30am-1:30pm. As a thank-you for your support, you will be invited to a Friday, Sept. 23 breakfast and poster session at the Coffman Union. The Ronald McDonald House on Oak Street is looking for Spanish speaking volunteers to help during school hours (Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m).
