Tomorrow, September 10, Habitat for Humanity at the University of Minnesota will bring over 70 student volunteers to North Minneapolis to finish five Habitat homes. Volunteers will work on landscaping, doing everything from rolling out sod to planting bushes.

WHEN:
Saturday, September 10 (tomorrow)
8:15 a.m. depart from Sanford Hall on the U of M Campus
8:45 a.m. arrive at home sites and begin work
3:15 p.m. finish work and depart from home sites

HandsOn Twin Cities invites you to join them this Saturday, September 10th from 9am-12pm at Victory Memorial Flagpole, located at the intersection of Victory Memorial Drive and 45th Avenue North in Minneapolis to honor the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. Participants are invited to also volunteer in north Minneapolis that morning and bring donation items for recipients of HandsOn Twin Cities' 9/11 initiative; to find out more as to what to bring, click here.


Register to Volunteer today for the American Diabetes Association EXPO on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Volunteers will receive free entrance to the EXPO and a T-shirt; however, parking reimbursement will not be provided. There are three shift options for volunteers on:

Morning Shift - from 8:15 am - 12:15 pm
Afternoon Shift - from 11:45 pm - 3:15 pm
All Day Shift - from8:15 am - 3:15 pm. Volunteers who work the "All Day" shift will be provided lunch.

Volunteers are also needed for set-up and take down.
Friday Setup - Friday, Oct. 14 th from 9:00am - Noon and/or 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Saturday Takedown - Saturday, Oct. 15 th beginning at 3:00 pm and working till done (approximately 5:00 pm)
