Elimu Africa is a volunteer-run MN non-profit that fundraises and awards grants to educational organizations in Tanzania. We are looking for General Members and people to help with specific projects for the first annual fundraising event in March 2012. Get experience: working with event sponsors and a non-profit board; in non-profit event management; in graphic design making invites and programs; or just participating in a non-profit. The volunteer positions with Elimu Africa provide great experience and require varying time commitments. For more information about us: http://elimuafrica.org/. Or contact Amy Greeley, Board Member and Treasurer, to apply.

International Education Week
International Education Week will take place November 14-18 this year. It is an annual celebration during which University of Minnesota colleges, campuses, and student groups plan events and activities to highlight the University's support of international education. The Global Programs and Strategy Alliance (GPS) has a leadership role in supporting and publicizing these events, and we hope you can make it to some of them.
