Mental Health Awareness Day

Where: Coffman Front Lawn
When: April 25th 9:00am - 3:00pm, Demonstration & Spoken word performances at 12:00pm

The event is committed to educating, and raising awareness about mental health at campus. Includes a display of 1,100 empty chairs, representing the average number of college students that die annually by suicide. The display will be titled Don't Sit in Silence. There will be free t-shirts, spoken word performances, and more! This is a really great opportunity for everyone and anyone to get involved.

Looking for people to submit personal stories:

Food and Free T-Shirts provided for volunteers!!! We are asking for volunteers to help pass out t-shirts, have meaningful conversations about the display with people at the display, and help set up & take down materials outside of Coffman. If you are interested we ask that you commit to a 2 hour block of time between 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. the day of according to your own availability.
