Help Increase Safety for Older Drivers
Through CarFit, Volunteers of America of MN -- RSVP/Experience Corps of Minneapolis is working to increase older driver safety. Trained volunteers take drivers through a 12-point safety check-up, focusing on seat belt use, mirror and seat adjustments, and more. CarFit is not a driver assessment, but rather an education program.
Volunteer Medicare Phone Bank Counselor
The Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging (MAAA) assists individuals to age successfully and the capacity of communities to care for an aging population. Medicare Phone Bank Counselors work one-on-one with individuals to help understand benefits and options. Requires training and a minimum commitment of 16 hrs during office hours in North St Paul.

Tuesday-Therapeutic Riding Volunteer
River Valley Riders provide therapeutic horseback riding opportunities for people with special needs. At the riding sessions, the main jobs are horse leader and side walker. You don't need horse experience to volunteer -- just a willingness to learn. Weekdays and evenings, 1-3 hours per week in Afton.
Build New Worlds to make a Child's Day
Stages Theatre Company, a professional youth theatre in Hopkins, is looking for experienced adults to help in their scene shop. Help build, paint, and construct sets for upcoming performances. Relevant experience, in theatre or in life, a plus. Some daytime availability required. Put your skills to good use introducing children to the excitement of live theatre!
Garden Guru Chaska
If you love to garden, consider adopting one of the Aeon affordable housing properties in Chaska. They're looking for individuals and small groups who will come by a property weekly to weed, water and tend to flowers. Aeon will provide the plants, all you need to give is about two hours a week whichever day you're available. Suitable for supervised youth.

Patient and Family Support Hospice Volunteer
HealthPartners Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking volunteers to assist a Care Team. Activities include running errands, caregiver relief, continuous support during the patient's last days/hours of life, and emotional support to patients and their families. Volunteers are required to take 24 hours of training which is offered next in May and June in St Paul.
Winefest - a Toast to Children's Health
Families are at the heart of the WineFest No. 17 - A Toast to Children's Health, the Midwest's most anticipated food and wine charity event. This two-day affair at The Depot in Minneapolis on Friday, May 11th needs volunteers for 3-4 hour shifts ranging from 10 AM to 11 PM on both Friday and Saturday. Volunteer Form .
Information Desk volunteer
Staff information desk at Landmark Center in St Paul. Answer phones, direct and greet visitors. Hours available are: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm or 12:00-3:00pm, Sundays 1-4 PM. Two times a month.
Help the Chaplain with worship and chapel for 1 hour per week at Presbyterian Homes & Services in Spring Park. Wednesday's 9:45 AM to 11AM, or 3-4:30 PM; or Sundays 3- 4:30 PM. Volunteer should be able to help with set-up and push wheel chairs. Minimum age for volunteers is 14.
Project Homeless Connect
Project Homeless Connect is a one-stop shop to help people experiencing homelessness connect with services they choose or need. On Monday, May14, Hennepin County, the city of Minneapolis, and partners will bring multiple resources to the Minneapolis Convention Center. At least 1200 volunteers are needed for shifts from 9 - 2 p.m. and 9 - 4 p.m.
