The mission of Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. Volunteer service ensures that these homeowners live independently in homes that are safe, warm and dry.
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
Home Repair:
We are recruiting volunteers on an on-going basis to complete repairs for homeowners in and around the Twin Cities. If you would like us to be a part of upcoming projects, complete a volunteer application.
Safe At Home:
Safe at Home volunteers provide minor home safety or accessibility modifications to the homes of low-income older adults or individuals with disabilities. Often these homeowners are faced with the prospect of losing their independence as the result of needing a home safety or accessibility modification that they are unable to address. These modifications focus on preventing falls in the home and general safety improvements.
Office Assistant:
Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is currently looking for a volunteer office assistant. This essential volunteer would assist with a variety of office work, including data entry, mailings and filing. Possible duties include data entry, filing, word processing and data management, other office and clerical duties as become necessary.
If you would like to volunteer in other ways with Rebuilding Together Twin Cities, contact their Volunteer Coordinator at (651) 776-4273 or by email at volunteerservices@rebuildingtogether-twincities.org.
