Ice Cream Social:
Join the U of M's GLBTA Programs Office staff on Monday September 16th for ice cream and a chance to win prizes in their "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" game show. The event runs from 12:00 to 2:00pm at the St. Paul Student Center Terrace.
The GLBTA Programs Office will be hosting a GLBT ALLY 101 Training session on Wednesday September 26th from 2:00 to 4:00pm. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Political Panic & Loaded Language:
Does Same Sex Marriage Assure GLBT Equality? This session focuses on understanding Minnesota's marriage amendment. For more details, check out https://diversity.umn.edu/criticalconversations. This session will take place on Friday September 28th from 1:30 to 3:00pm on the West Bank.
On Monday October 1st and Tuesday October 2nd, join the GLBTA Programs Office for a Meet-and-Greet to meet staff and check out their new Student Lounge and GLBT Student Art Gallery, and pick up some free food! The event starts at noon and ends at 2:00pm in Appleby Hall, room 41.
GLBTQ Identities & Communities:
This event, on Wednesday October 10th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, is an OED Equity & Diversity Workshop and will be led by GLBTA Programs Office staff. For more details, check out https://diversity.umn.edu/equitydiversitycertificate.
MN Out Campus Conference:
From Friday October 12th through Sunday October 14th, the GLBTA Programs Office and Trans Commission will be leading sessions sharing some knowledge and learning best practices for advancing GLBTA work from higher education campuses across the Midwest.
