La Raza Student Cultural Center is hiring for two different positions!
La Raza works to achieve a greater historical, political, cultural and social awareness concerning the Chicano and Latino communities, through cultural and educational programs and events.
Positions available include:
Staff Assistant Fall 2012
This is a yearly position offered to students of the University of Minnesota. As a member of La Raza Student Cultural Center staff, individuals are responsible of maintaining La Raza clean and up n date with its daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. This position is a part-time position that requires some commitment to La Raza. Staff on average will work about 10 to 15 hours per week depending upon the amount of work at La Raza, and one's personal school schedule.

Staff Liaison:
The position of staff liaison goes in accordance with the description in La Raza Constitution. As a supervisor of staff, this individual sees that the everyday operational tasks of La Raza are completed. This is a part-time job position. The staff liaison will work between 15 to 20 hours a week depending on the amount of work at La Raza so scheduling is somewhat flexible to fit one's school schedule.
