Looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity? Sign up for Camp Courage

The Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance is looking for volunteers for the 8th Annual TBI (Traumatic Brian Injury) Family Weekend Retreat. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know some amazing children, touch their lives, and learn a little bit about brain injury while you're at it. We thought that the students and staff in your University may be interested in this enriching and educational experience.

Volunteers will get to know and accompany children in activities throughout the day. The retreat will be held Friday October 05th - Sunday October 07th, 2012 at Camp Courage near Maple Lake, MN. Volunteers will come Saturday October 6th at 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. to help. It will be a day for volunteers to connect with children with brain injury and their siblings.

Applications are due Wednesday, September 12th.

Contact Luciani de Souza from the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance via email at intern@braininjurymn.org for more information, questions, and/or volunteer registration forms. Any other questions, feel free to contact Anna Karena, Volunteer Specialist at the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance, 612-378-2742 or annak@braininjurymn.org.
