One-hit Wonders: One-time, fun & easy ways to give back

Kowalski's:
Volunteers are still needed this weekend on Sunday 12:00-2:00pm and 2:00-4:15pm. Responsibilities include handing out food wish lists to customers and collecting food donations at Kowalski's on Grand. Volunteers still needed for these shifts: August 19th: 12:00-2:00pm (2 volunteers needed); 2:00-4:15pm (1 volunteer needed).

Detail-Oriented Volunteer Needed for Two Hour Email Project

Bring your iPod and listen to music while helping us locate emails for our corporate partners! Project would involve searching the web and our database for records. They are around here somewhere and we just need your help finding them! Project can be done at the Wellstone Center scheduled during daytime business hours.

Volunteer at the Saint Paul Farmer's Market:
Helpers are needed September 2, 16, or 23 to help us collect unsold produce from the farmers to bring back to Neighborhood House food shelf on these Sundays 12:30-2:30pm: September 2nd, 16th, 23rd, October 28th . You bring muscles, they bring everything else.

Francis Basket Food Shelf:
Help is needed Fridays in West 7th/Highland/Mac/Groveland area. Located at 1293 Maynard Drive, Apt 410, Saint Paul, MN. They need help to make this new opening a success! Volunteers are needed to help participants shop for food on Fridays 9:00am-12:00pm or 1:00-4:00pm. Under 14 with an adult.

Evening Opportunity

Co-Teach GED Math Classes:
This volunteer engagement runs from September 10-December 13. Adult Education is looking for volunteers to teach GED Math on Monday or Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30pm. Subject examples: add/subject integers, order of operations, scientific notation, FOIL, roots and exponents, factor expressions. Training and materials provided! 18+.

Want to learn how a website works?
Our Marketing department needs help keeping up communication through all of the exciting happenings at Neighborhood House. Help with website updates and email communication. No website experience needed in this volunteer position but you should be comfortable with computers (Facebook, Twitter and email count). 2-3 hours/week. Flexible scheduling.
