Minimizing Debt and Maximizing Opportunities: Strategies for Allocating Funding for Graduate Students

Interested to know how to secure internal and external fundings for thesis and dissertation research? Please come to the EPASA Brown Bag on Monday, April 21, from noon to 1:00pm in room 250 Wulling Hall.

Our presenter, Christopher Johnstone, is the Director of International Initiatives and Relations at the College of Education and Human Development. The theme is, "Minimizing debt and maximizing opportunities: Strategies for graduate students." He will talk about how to finance your dissertation and thesis, write grant proposal, and share resources about internships. A brief guide about various funding sources will also be distributed.

Superhelpful information, methinks. I managed to get an MA degree in the U.S. without a single dollar of a loan and now contemplating one - can't see any other solution to pay for those 24 thesis credits!
