TONIGHT!

Brian Feldman, Ph.D., Jungian Analyst “Individuation, Identity, and the Self: A Jungian and Post-Jungian View of Development Through the Life Cycle

TONIGHT!! Friday night, October 13, 2006

Macalester College, Carnegie Hall, Room G-6
7:30 to 9:30 PM (Registration begins at 7:00 PM)
Members: $15.00 Non-Members: $20.00 Students: $10.00

This most unusual lecture will offer us a different perspective on the origin of Jung’s theories of individuation, identity, and Self. Dr. Feldman will discuss Jung’s personal experiences and cultural context and the role they played in the formulation of his theories. He will show slides of some places and spaces important to these connections. He will also discuss the post-Jungian theories of Michael Fordham, renowned British child analyst, and how they extended and expanded Jung’s original formula-tions. Fordham was an editor of Jung’s collected works and had an intimate knowledge of Jung and his theories-- which he shared with Dr. Feldman while he was the latter’s supervisor and mentor.

WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US FOR THIS STIMULATING EVENING!
