THE PRESIDENT'S STUDENT LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE AWARD honors the accomplishments of outstanding students and their leadership and service contributions to UMTC and the community. All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate current U students for the award, presented annually to one-half of one percent of University students. THE MN LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) program is seeking applicants for fellowships in the 2014-15 academic year. MN LEND accepts pre- and post-doctoral students and community fellows for a yearlong interdisciplinary and leadership training program focusing on improving the health of infants, children, and adolescents with disabilities. ICGC Fellowships: The Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change sponsors an annual series of fellowship competitions to support graduate students at the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities committed to the study of global change, especially as seen in the global south (particularly Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Middle East) and in communities of color within North America.

Only those candidates who have been nominated by the department or program will be eligible. The deadline for receipt of nomination and application materials in ICGC is Friday, January 31, 2014. Awards are announced in early March.
