Extension at the Capitol

"Extension at the Capitol" will be held March 25 and 26. The event is designed for Minnesota citizens who have experienced Extension programs, are interested in the legislative process, and want to learn about University research. The event covers research tours on the St. Paul campus, legislative workshops and visits with legislators at the capitol. The research tours showcase research in action and the translation of that research through Extension programs. More information on the two-day event is available on the Government Relations website.

Regional directors are recruiting participants. Extension educators and center staff are also encouraged to bring a program team. Contact the regional director in your area of the state or the associate dean in your program area to register or learn more about potential teams. Registrations are due by February 27.

If you have specific questions about the program content or registration details, please contact Toni Smith, Sarah Greening or Gwen Gmeinder.
