The Northeast Minnesota Sustainable Development Partnership (NMSDP) coordinated a resource team visit to Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center in March 2008. The team's recommendations, actions taken by Boulder and next steps are outlined in their report. Some recommended actions include offering cohort opportunities for learning through the Woodland Advisor and Master Naturalist programs; connecting Master Naturalist volunteers to school forest programs; and developing an online forum to continue to discuss ways for Boulder Lake to engage people that live, work and play in forested landscapes.
