The University's Office of Information Technology is making a change in the way email messages in trash or deleted items folders are handled. In the past, messages in the trash or deleted items folders have been auto-filed by the University. Beginning May 1, OIT will no longer auto-file these email messages; instead all messages marked as trash that are older than 30 days will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored.If you've been in the practice of storing important information in your trash or deleted Items folders, it is recommended that you take this opportunity to go through those folders and move important messages or messages you want to save.
