The University goes to great lengths to prevent unauthorized access to information such as your email and personal records and for that reason, internet passwords (i.e., x.500 passwords) are set to expire once per year. Every year you receive an email notification from the University requiring you to change your University Internet password. When you change your password, you will also need to update your email settings and Smartphone settings.
As a reminder, the University will never ask for your user ID or password, and you should never reply to ANY email request asking for that information. Always go to the University account website to change your University password. For questions, contact the Extension helpline at 612-624-6700.
