One of the programming priorities of Extension's federal USDA stakeholder, the National Institute on Food and Agriculture (NIFA), is climate change. In Minnesota, we are looking at opportunities to expand our programming and grants in support for this important and complex issue that cuts across many program areas in Extension.
In an effort to assess the perspectives and educational needs, Extension's Climate Initiative team is asking for a few minutes of your time to help us refine Extension's work on climate change. Please take five minutes to complete an online survey by February 18. The survey will allow the team to compare Extension responses with other agency staff and with the general public.
Similar questions were asked of a representative population of Minnesotans this fall through the MN Center for Survey Research, and in internal surveys conducted by the MN Department of Natural Resources and the MN Department of Health. Employees in the Extension Center for Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (EFANS) also took the survey earlier this year and do not need to take it again.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete the survey. The results and comparisons will be shared in a future enews article.
