Extension Retirement Incentive Option (RIO) FAQs Updated

Earlier this week, Dean Durgan sent an email to all Extension staff about the University's Retirement Incentive Option (RIO) with a link to University resources and Extension-specific FAQs.  The Extension FAQs have recently been updated with information about the RIO Agreement form and the Federal Voluntary Early Retirement Authority (VERA).  These FAQs will continue to be updated as more information is available, so be sure to use them as a resource when making decisions about RIO.

RIO is an opportunity for voluntary retirement for eligible employees.  Faculty, P&A, Civil Service, Represented Bargaining Unit, and Federal employees may enroll in RIO beginning February 15 through May 15, 2011. For more information about RIO, and to determine if you are eligible, visit the University RIO website.
