File Sharing

With more people working outside office walls or from a distance, there is an increased need to share documents between multiple sites.  The University offers Netfiles, an online file storage tool, as a secure way to share files with staff and colleagues.  Other file sharing services such as Dropbox.com and similar services are also free and easy to use; however, some of these tools are not secure and do not have approval from the University's Office of the General Counsel for files created for University business.

Visit the Extension intranet for more information about how to access and use Netfiles. For more information about file sharing, call the IT help desk (612)624-6700.
