The August 18 RIO article should have included Barbara Sorensen's correct title, "Educator, 4-H Youth Development."
Ellie McCann transitioned to her new position as Extension educator for regional 4-H youth development on August 8. Ellie, hired to fill the position vacated by the May 31 retirement of Donna Geiser, is not new to Extension, having served as an educator in the Center for Family Development since 2003. In her new position, Ellie will continue to be housed in the Extension Regional Office in Moorhead and will provide leadership to the 4-H Youth Development program in a six-county region that includes Becker, Clay, Mahnomen, Norman, Otter Tail and Wilkin counties.
In addition to providing visionary leadership to Youth Development programs and staff in the region, Ellie will serve on teams charged with advancing statewide priorities, such as Youth Program Quality Improvement.
