The North Central Cooperative Extension Association is hosting an online professional development opportunity on "The Challenge of Feeding 9 Billion People: Implications for Cooperative Extension." This two-part workshop and panel discussion will draw on national experts to introduce emerging challenges in the food system and to initiate a discussion of opportunities for Cooperative Extension.

The workshop webinar will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. with a panel discussion on Thursday, April 5, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

The agenda will address the challenge of feeding 9 billion people from perspectives in agriculture, natural resources, consumers, and youth and workforce development. Additional details and how to connect will be available closer to the event.
