Intranet Double-Take

Have you noticed lately that you must enter your log-in information twice before entering the Extension intranet?  If you have, you are not alone.  For a brief period of time, everyone who enters the Extension intranet through the homepage is required to sign in twice to enter the site.

The double sign-in is a result of University Office of Information Technology transitioning the University's web authentication services.  Because there are so many websites and systems involved, OIT is handling the transition process in phases.  This has created an overlap of authentication on the Extension intranet, thereby creating a forced double sign-in.

OIT is expected to transition the Extension intranet to the new system in early to mid summer.  Until then, please continue to sign in twice to enter the site.
