Tom Rothman has accepted the position of director of agricultural stakeholder outreach for Extension. Tom's appointment will begin on January 7. Tom has extensive experience in agricultural communications, most recently as director of agricultural programming for the Minnesota Farm Network, and will bring a wealth of knowledge to this position. Tom will be located in Coffey Hall, St. Paul campus.

Melissa Runck began as 4-H program coordinator at the Extension office in Nobles County on November 13. Most recently she served as a marketing logistics coordinator in Pipestone.
Melissa grew up in 4-H in South Dakota and was active in livestock judging and family and consumer science judging. Her strengths include good communication skills, a background in working with youth of all ages and adult volunteers, and good organizational skills.
