Online Technology Workshops: Google Drive, Moodle, Excel and iPad

The University's Office of Information Technology training group is now offering the following hands-on online workshops (each session is 2.5 to 3.5 hours):

·  GGL131 Working with Google Drive, Documents and Presentations (3/27)

·  GGL141 Working with Google Drive, Spreadsheets and Forms (4/24)

·  MDL101 Creating Basic Course Websites with Moodle (3/26)

Thirty-minute Excel and iPad online sessions are also being offered (not designed as hands-on):

·  XL211 Creating Basic Charts in MS Excel 2010 (3/28)

·  XL221 Choosing a Chart Type to Effectively Interpret Data with MS Excel 2010 (3/28)

·  XL231 Using Conditional Formatting to Effectively Display Data with MS Excel 2010 (5/28)

·  IPD101 Basic iPad Concepts and Setup (2/26 & 2/27)

·  IPD121 Note-taking on the iPad (2/26)

·  IPD131 Sketching and Wireframing on the iPad (2/26)

·  IPD141 Presenting with the iPad  (2/27)

·  IPD151 Video Creation with the iPad  (2/27)

There is a participant limit in these classes so sign up early! You can register for these classes online through ULearn, the University's new non-credit registration system (Tip: enter the course number listed above in the search box on the ULearn website), or visit the OIT training website to learn more about the trainings they offer.
