In the article about Wilson and Lincoln schools, two things that stand out to me and are important is the number of students who feel they get treated weith respect, and the number of students who feel they are safe in their school. In the article it says that only 64% of the students feel they are shown respect by the teachers, which is a low number. Teacher respect is a big part in a good learning experience. The other thing that stick out is the amount of students who feel safe in school. Only 59% of the students said that they feel safe in their school which is also a low number. I think school safety is important because students can focus more on their education instead of having to worry about shootings and other things like that.
