I am Erika, a FSoS senior graduating in December (woot!) I work as a Spanish Medical Interpreter at HCMC downtown, but am excited to graduate so I can move into the realm of social work. I lived 4+ years in Central/South America and Mexico and have become very focused through these experiences and those at my job on working with Latino immigrants in the U.S. I am interested in all things regarding human rights and equality, and strive to become more understanding of the myriad of human experiences.

I can tend to dominate class discussions when sparked/passionate and so for this class I might try to restrain myself in order to learn more about the viewpoints of others instead of just focusing on espousing my own. :)
