MGIS Resources for Students

Greetings Students,

I wanted to point out some new advising resources available to you on the MGIS web site. In particular, I have made some additions to the Advising page: http://mgis.umn.edu/program/advising.html including:

* A link to a new Graduate School page on "Special Registration
Categories for Graduate School Students" that includes information
on GRAD 999 registration.
* A Fall/Spring course listing--a general guideline but pretty
accurate for 2009-2010 (under "Other Advising Materials" section)
* A DGS blog that Francis Harvey has created
* And more..... so do check it out!

Please do remember to check in with Francis and/or me if you are planning on registering for GRAD 999 in the Fall.

Also be sure to check in with your adviser regarding what you plan to register for in the Fall if you have not done so already.

You have all received your annual review evaluation letters so be sure to read through these carefully so you know when to turn in your degree program forms etc.
Those of you planning to finish your degrees by the end of this term or the summer should check in with your advisers regarding the timing of your degree completion; also be sure to check in with me as well.

Susanna
