I like to think of myself as a responsible Netizen, but there's only one of me.
So I just saw Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. No, I'm not going to review it, except to say that it was just what I expected – another Braveheart clone in foreign lingo and loincloths, with even more excised body parts dangled in front of their not-yet-dead owners. Enjoyable, on its own terms. However, something unexpected did happen.
I don't know what I should have done.

Today in Cell Bio, the professor put up a slide about microarrays. Now, in all fairness, I'm working on microarrays in my research project, so there wasn't anything here I didn't already know. However, even if this had been new material, I still wouldn't have done what everyone else seemed to be doing.
