Today we drove back to Arizona from California...Man is that a long a drive!

When we got back we called my Mom's cousin and her husband and asked them to meet us for beverages at this place called Simpletons. Man there were a lot of old people there.

After that we met with my Mom's work friend Kim. Kim is currently writting a screen play for Hollywood, and they are extremly interested. Right now she is working on the final draft of the script, and talking to people about a location. Because the movie will have ties to the University of Minnesota, the MN film society is fighting really hard to get the film filmed there.

Mom's cousin and her son came over for breakfast and then we went out to see Meet the Fockers. That is an incredibly good movie, and if you have not yet seen it I highly recomend it. After that we went back to the apartment and I opened a bottle of Wine, which I split with my Mom's cousin while we played a domino game.

The entire day we were telling them that we needed to be somplace to meet Kim at 5:30 for dinner, but they did not leave until 7:30!

We finally met up with Kim again, we were planning on going to dinner, but we had told Kim to just eat at home since we were so late. At this point we were just going to head out to a place called Charlies, which is a gay bar in Arizona. This was going to be extremely wierd...going to a gay bar with your mother??? We never did make it the bar that night because Kim forgot her money and then when we got back she was having a migrane... O well. My mom and I went to best buy then where I bought her Meet the Parents, and I bought Spiderman One and Two.

My sister is arriving in AZ today and we are on our way to pick her up.

After we picked up my sister we went to Ikea, and I can tell you I will never go into one of those stores again. I hated that I could not find my way out of the damn building.
