Little Update
Ok time for a quick update!
I am still really busy with school.
The Skills Workshop went really well. I think all the speakers were great, except one of them, the wedding planner, showed up late. Thank god I decided to cover our asses by opening one of the rooms that I was 90% sure we were not going to need.
My favorite speakers at the Workshop were Nancy Kremer (Talent Manager), and Kelly Moore (Fashion Show Planning). Both had great personalities and both gave great presentations. Kelly really seemed to like me as well because she mentioned possibly using me in her next fashion show, either behind the scenes or on the runway....DAN FRANK; MODEL..... To quote ABFAB, "THURSDAY!"
Anywho I am working on planning a little trip for myself before the Fall semester starts going around California and Chicago networking with different people at PR agencies. My hope is that it will help me obtain employement faster.
I also am about to go over to the Aurora Center in Boyton to pitch my next possible event. April is Sexual Assult Awareness Month and I thought it would be great to have a fundraising concert staring Charlotte Martin, who regulary speaks about this topic, and have it sponsored by the Aurora Center. This would be great because all the finds would probably go to Aurora Center, it would increase their on campus visibility and it would give me great non-profit experience.
