I suddenlt became extremley frustrated when I noticed the little orange light appear on my dash - check engine. I had just taken my car into the dealership two months ago, and gotten an oil change and transmission fluid replacement weeks ago.

Today I brought my car into the dealership for the second time this year. The car was running perfectly fine, but the check engine light had come on; perhaps there was nothing wrong at all and the computer in the car simnply malfunctioned. So I headed to the dealership before I made my way to General Mills for work.

When I got my car inside Walser Mazda in Burnsville, they asked if I had an appointment. I told them I did not make one because I was hoping that this would be an in and out visit. Unfortunatly this was not to be the case. I was informed that they would need my car for the entire day, and that I should call someone to come pick me up. I quickly tooled through the address book in my phone searching for someone who would be awake and willing to pick me up, it was 7:30am after all. I could not think of one person who would be up at that time so I ended up going with plan B. I rented a car.

Now I always thought that in Minnesota you had to be 24 or 25 to rent a car, but apparently because I was renting it with the dealership, it was ok. The car was going to cost me 25 dollars for one day, so lets hope my car in better by tomorrow morning.

I waited quietly for the guy to bring my car from Enterprise, I thought I would get a car simliar to my own, another mazda perhaps...ummm...NOPE. I got a FORD FUCK-US (Focus). The car really is not that bad, but they certianly did not make it easy for someone left handed to drive this beast. (It is very hard to look over my left sholder and see other cars when switching lanes) The car must be new because it only has 500 miles on it, at the same time the car is old.

This vehicle has no luxury options in it! Sure it does have a cd player, but where are the power locks, where are the power windows, where the fuck are my power side windows?

All in all I should not complaine because I am getting to rent this car for the day at a discounted rate. Although I am a little pissed that Walser Mazda is charging me $100 to look at my car and probably just off the check engine light. That will be the easiest 100 bucks they have ever made.

I have finished listening to every song on my ipod. It took me about a month and a half I think. I have 1,048 songs on it. The final song -- Fever by Kylie Minogue.
