Diary of Dan Frank

So last weekend something pretty interesting happened...I hung out with my friend "A...” whom I have not seen for a really long time. I had been talking on the phone with her again, but am still pretty upset about an incident that happened a little over a year ago.

Anyway it was her birthday on Saturday; she is now 23. So she had called to invite me out, and I thought it would be fun to meet up with her for one drink. I had plans to hang out with Jenn before that and I asked her if it would just be ok if we went for like one drink. I actually had two, but Jenn and I were both tired so we left after that.

While talking on the phone with "A...” she had said something about having gained a lot of weight. The last time I had hung out with her she was saying the same thing, but I didn't think she had actually gained any weight...this time she was not lying. "A..." claims that she gained 40lbs, but I would say it looks more like 20, but regardless when Jenn and I showed up at the bar we almost did not recognize her.

Sunday morning I woke up and Dad and Nancee wanted to go out to breakfast/lunch so we ended up going over to Bonfire for some brunch...I had a bloody mary as well...oh yeah and a Mimosa...yummy! Anyway it was pretty odd sitting in a restaurant, where I know everyone, with my father and his girlfriend. After we left I went back cause some of the girls wanted me to join them for more Mimosas...I mean come on they are only 99 cents!!! After that it was off to Grandma's so I could drop off my computer which is on the fritz...AGAIN!!! DAMN VIRUS!!!

This weekend I am going to hang out with Katie and Tony on Saturday and I am going to get wasted!!!!! I hope. I see there is a bit of a theme to this entry...alcohol...hmmm
