I Got Problems
Last night I was studying with my friend Amanda at a restaurant. We were studying for our Communication in Marriage and Family exam on Thursday. While we were going through the study gude we were writting the answers in a word document on my notebook computer.
Suddenly our food was brought to us and I closed the notebook so we could eat. When I reopened the notebook after dinner the screen was black; I assumed it went into hybernation mode so I pressed the sleep button to wake the computer up...Nothing happened.
I proceeded to do many things to try and get the screen to pop back up, but nothing worked. So now I have another problem with this computer which pissed me off because at this point I am better off replacing the fucker. The problem is this computer is not mine, its my mothers. So in addition to buying myself a notebook computer I am going to have to buy her a new one as well. I don't have this kind of money.
After I stressed about this I decided to call my mother and I was on the phone with her the whole way home. She told me not to worry about the computer, she never expected to get it back anyway. That is so nice, one problem fixed, but as was the case last night the next problem was seconds away.
I pulled the car into the garage and put it in park. The next logical thing is to take the keys out of the ignition, however this was not to be. THEY WERE STUCK! Now this has happened before with my car so I did what I have done everytime it happens. I turn off the car, and turn it back on shifting the gears and then try again. IT DID NOT WORK!! Not only did this not work, but I also found it difficult to shift the gears in my car...FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!
I tried for one hour to get my keys out of my car, but try as I might, it did not work... So my dad tried, but also failed. I decided I would wait until the morning; again it did not work.
I ended up skipping school today to take the car into the dealership to have them look at it. It ended up costing me $165 for them to take apart my steering column and fix a loose wire. At this point I thought to myself I am already here I might as well have them fix the problem with my suspension in the rear tires. $141.00! Total with everything included It cost me $343.00 to fix my car this afternoon. On the plus side it is working like a dream...That is until my timing belt snaps, which should be in another 10,000 miles, or less...$525.00 I think I will ask someone else to do that for me.
