I thought that the 1st reading (ch. 2) was especially interesting. I found it interesting that there were so many different approaches to design (methodologies)
The reading also talked about measurements and such. For my project (booklet about selling a Family Farm) I honestly don't think I'll be messing with measurements that much. I have always found the stuff about the golden rule and grids, etc to be a tad confusing, We did learn about it some in Typography 1 and Design Tech, but I can never seem to fully understand it. Never been a math person...hence the reason Why I'm a Graphic design major :)
The style for my project is supposed to be very gritty-like and homemade, What Im planning to do is showit going old to new, Starting with images of old farms, and end with images of big cities. The family is leaving the farming life behind for the city.
