Masthead, part 2

Katie prepared a program-specific banner. And we wanted to experiment with using the square wordmark.

Is nice! Good use of color. I like #2 with the square wordmark (the first one looks like we've got three stacked banners going on), though feel that the banner and the wordmark should be the same height. And the text is too tight on the left. Also, the stamp looks a little awkward to me...but I'm not sure why yet...

People prefer the version with the square wordmark. With a couple of changes: shrink the wordmark to show more white space around it; line it up with the banner on the right.
