MC2= Multi Cultural Conversations

The purpose of MC2 is to create intentional time and space for informal, yet purposeful dialogue among all Family Social Science students, staff, and faculty about topics of culture and diversity.

MC2 involves showing films or reading articles or books and having follow-up discussions, or it might involve discussion of a current events, such as the post-election violence in Kenya or the immigration raids in rural Minnesota. The desired outcome is to create a multi-cultural community that values and demonstrates our commitment to inclusiveness and social justice.

Fall dates planned: Sept 30, Oct 21, Nov 18 and Dec 9.
Conversations will be in room 377 McNeal Hall from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.
