Great Green Gardeners July Meeting Notes
Master Gardener and Club advisor Debbie Monchamp worked with the group to finalize plans to install a fence around the community garden exhibit.
Great Green Gardeners met on July 13 at the 4-H building on the fairgrounds. Plans for installing a fence around the community garden exhibit were finalized. Thanks to a SHIP grant, the club will be able to protect the exhibits from the heavy fair traffic during fair week. Access to the exhibit area will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fence entrance will be handicap friendly. The community garden exhibit is located behind the grandstand.
Club members new to 4-H learned how to register for fair exhibits and voted to develop a Club Booth in the 4-H building.
It was a great meeting!
