I thought it was really interesting that the hippocampus was so severely damaged in people who suffer from PTSD, especially since it was 25% smaller. I also thought that the theory that people with smaller hippocampi are more prone to PTSD was valid, and it would be interesting to do further testing on that subject. I will also state that personally, I don't believe in recovered memories. In my experience, people tend to fabricate things in order to capture the emotion they believed they experienced at the time, and that may cause some details of the event to be inaccurate.
