How the built environment effected who I am. Growing up in Lake Geneva WI. I was effected by architecture in a weird way. Lake Geneva is the city where Dungeons & Dragons was invented. So a lot of my friends parents were writers and artists for them. So between Frank Loyd Wright and WWII bungalow houses the only other architecture was the fantasy castles and building of Dungeons & Dragons.
So outside of Lake Geneva I thought everyone one else lived in these crazy huge castles on mountain top or in dark evil forests. I soon started loosing interest in the game and getting more into drawing and designing the environment for the other players to use.
So for the Phenomenon "Opposition" I like because I love trying to blend my castles in to the natural or supernatural environment I invented for them.
I believe since I have had all this fantasy architecture this will help me keep me open to other outside of the box ideas I will come across with other student or professional architects.
