Midi Controllers Virtual and Otherwise

FYI the knobs are controllers #1-8 and the sliders start on #81-89. There is NO documentation with this thing so it took me a while to find out where to assign the sliders (that was before I found out about the handy little midi-tester in class today).

It presents most of the same problems that trying to control stuff without some sort of hardware does, but at least you can check to see if you're writing your patches correctly.

To that end check out these cute hardware midi controllers that Korg makes that are actually quite affordable and look like they are easily transportable as well:
